The MicroPuck 2009 DC:DC LED driver is capable of operating in Buck, Boost, or Buck-Boost topologies, allowing it to maintain regulated current regardless of whether the input voltage is higher or lower than the load. It is specifically designed for very low voltage applications, accepting a minimal input range of 0.8 to 3 VDC. The unit provides a constant current output ranging from 350 mA to 600 mA but does not feature integrated dimming capabilities.
