LEDSupply's LUXtape UV-C operates at 280 nanometers, an optimal wavelength for disinfection and sterilization. Each reel includes 18 high efficiency UV-emitting LEDs mounted on a flexible and easy to install linear circuit-board.
The back of the strip includes pre-applied 3M VHB double-sided tape which provides a simple but effective adhesive mounting method. The UV-C Flex strips are 1 meter in length (39.4 inches) and conveniently include 2.1mm female/male plugs on alternating ends. This makes it possible to connect them together, please do not connect more than 5M in one straight run.

UV LED Power - Ideal for Sterilization
This LUXdrive UVC Strip uses 3535 LEDs that emit a 280nm deep UV light. The 18 LEDs/m provide 75mW for each M piece. This is a surprising amount of power for an easy-to-install flex strip. It is cuttable every 2”, making it extremely versatile when adding into your design.
UV-C wavelengths can reliably kill and inactivate viruses, bacteria and molds due to their unique ability to target the DNA and RNA of these pathogens. The 280nm wavelength is ideal for these sterilization and disinfection applications as viruses are more susceptible to corruption in their genetic code under.

- Do not look directly into the LED while it is on, UV-C wavelengths are extremely harmful to the eyes.
- Use UV filtered glasses or goggles to avoid permanent damage to eyesight.

- Avoid any direct exposure to skin as it can cause burning and irritation even for short periods of exposure.
